Bäckerei Weiß & Sohn GmbH offers an apprenticeship as a pastry chef / confectioner in the bakery and involves apprentices in ideas and creativity from the start. Training content includes selecting and measuring ingredients as well as producing cakes, tarts, pralines, desserts and party pastries by hand and with machines. After baking, goods are garnished and glazed; apprentices also help with product presentation, sales and customer advice. An apprentice mentor accompanies the training period, apprentice pay starts at €1,000 in the first year, and after completion further prospects are open at Weiss.
